When you think of Perrywinkle's you probably think of our passion for making beautiful jewelry. So you might be surprised to know that our Burlington and Plattsburgh stores have a wonderful collection of Swarovski crystal ... and we love having it.
The story of Swarovski crystal designs began at the Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 1976 with the presentation of a crystal Mouse made of Swarovski chandelier parts. This so-called "Original Mouse" was later followed by a range of animal figurines. The pieces soon became sought-after collectors' items, inspiring the foundation of the Swarovski Collectors Society and the magical collection of figurines and collectable objects.
But what surprises us is that we were selected to represent Swarovski since we're not sure how to pronounce it. It is Swarovki? Sworshki? Swarrrrrrovski? We're not too sure. But we are sure that it's one of the most beautiful gifts you can give for weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings, or to collectors.
